Play reading – April

A switch in our allegiance is on the cards for our next play.  Having last month had the satisfaction of witnessing the fulfilment of the illustrious barrister’s wish, ‘Let right be done’, in the case of the wrongly accused Winslow Boy, our sympathies this time may lie elsewhere as we get to know the joyfully tax-free illegality of Pop and Ma Larkin’s lifestyle in the stage version of ‘The darling buds of May’ by H.E. Bates. Join us for a surfeit of beguiling perfume, heady cocktails and succulent roast goose, all in the interest of maintaining the Larkins’ rural idyll and blissful tax evasion, on April 16th!
