The group has had a fun month making things for Christmas, which are still ongoing, plus we had an outing! We heard on the grapevine that Coleman’s, the stationers and craft items shops, have had major refurbishment work done at their warehouse in Rushden, so of course, we had to go along and see it. Some of the ladies had never been there before and were quite taken aback at the sight that greeted us as we walked in. It is a huge warehouse with a mezzanine floor where workshops take place and the main floor downstairs is spacious and well laid out with all the craft items you could possibly require. The ladies were like children in a sweet shop and baskets were soon filled as they spotted things they didn’t even know they needed! There was a coffee shop there to refresh yourself before looking at more things. We were all exhausted after a busy morning and ended up in the pub next door for well-earned lunch. A good day was had by all. Do come and join us. If you are interested do please contact me for more information. We meet at Foxton Village Hall, first and third Fridays at 10-12. Jan Collins.
