A pretty mundane morning at Stanwick Lakes for this month’s outing but at least the weather was kind to us – a balmy November day. A good flock of Long-tailed Tits seemed to be following us around the reserve! Otherwise little birds were few and far between. Plenty of the common ducks, gulls and geese around so a Green Woodpecker was probably the highlight! A solitary Redwing was the first for the group this Winter.
