A warm, sunny, July day provided the perfect setting for a day trip to Kings Lynn. Local, volunteer guides expertly took small groups of SLU3A members around this fascinating town. It used to be a bustling inland harbour with the associated warehouses, merchant houses, guildhalls and market squares It was also the base of former monasteries. Thank you to Maryann Richardson for organising the trip
Pictured is the guildhall adjacent to the minister.
