Lincoln was built as a legionary fortress by the Romans and substantial structures can still be seen today. There are many ancient and medieval buildings in High Street and Steep Hill. Lincoln cathedral is a fine example of English Gothic architecture and was once the tallest in the world. Lincoln Castle, an 11th century Norman castle, is home to one of only four surviving Magna Carta and has a medieval wall walk and a Victorian prison. There is a walking tour of the historical parts of Lincoln.
A combined ticket for both the castle and the cathedral costs £13.
The cost of the coach and the walking tour is £16.
The coach will leave Market Harborough Bus Station at 8.30am.
