Drawing and Painting for Pleasure – October

Although we did not meet in July and August, a group of 12 of us went to Thornby Hall, the new Buddhist Centre, on an outdoor painting day in mid July. The weather was idyllic, and the house and grounds provided us with inspiration for some really lovely work. The lunch and afternoon tea completed a wonderful trip out.
September has seen us back in force, working on individual projects, and utilising Derek’s expertise once again. We have also photographed our productions from our trip to Thornby for display on the Centre’s website and their Facebook page, and Cornelia has generously donated her painting of the Thornby grounds, to be displayed at the Centre.
