Usually we meet on the last Friday of the month, 2-4pm at St Nicholas Church, Little Bowden. It’s a friendly group with varying degrees of skill, from beginners to the very experienced, and new members are always welcome. Each month we read out our pieces and agree on a title for the following month. The style of writing is your choice: poetry, prose, a letter, a phone call, a rant, whatever the chosen title suggests to you. We try to limit the word-count to 600 so there is time to hear everyone’s piece. Our next meeting is on Friday, February 24th, when the title is ‘Misunderstanding’. There is also the option of writing a story in exactly 50 words, on any subject of your choice. Chris Mosley.
