As some of the group live in Northamptonshire, others in Leicestershire and therefore in different Covid Regulation
Tiers, I took the easy way out and booked the SLU3A Zoom Account
for another session on our Bird Watching morning. Nine of us were able to join in the meeting; birds recorded by group members included Cetti’s Warbler at Titchmarsh Local Nature Reserve, Bullfinch at Summer Leys, Grey Wagtail on the River Jordan in Little Bowden, Peregrine on St. Dionysius’s church spire in Market Harborough, over-wintering Blackcaps in Rothwell and M.H. gardens, Kingfisher on the River Welland in M.H., Pink-footed Goose at Hollowell Reservoir and Lesser Redpoll at Rutland Water.
