Seventeen of us braved the damp, overcast conditions of Michael and Caralyn’s walk from Tugby. The recent persistant rain had left some exceedingly muddy parts which fortunately were interspersed with long grassy stretches as we made our way via Skeffington and Rolleston back to Tugby. Well actually, not ALL of us! Two of our party turned back when that was discovered the house/car keys had gone missing, assumed dropped out of a pocket whilst clambering over a stile. Retracing their steps from Skeffington they only got lost once and then on eventually getting back to the car in Tugby found the keys inside it! Someone really ought to collect and publish these SLU3A anecdotes. There’s not many a walk passes by without something similar happening!
