ANGLESEY ABBEY

A trip for members of the Gardens etc group.  See below on how to join the group.

ANGLESEY ABBEY – NATIONAL TRUST

SNOWDROPS

on Friday 1st February 2019.

The Winter Garden has been specially designed with plants that are at their best  during Winter, when colour is in short supply, plus scent. It is stunning!!!

Ground cover plant material is used extensively throughout the Winter Garden, to add to the display.

You can see over 300 varieties of the delicate white flowers, including 20 varieties that have been discovered here at ANGLESEY ABBEY.

A Snowdrops Guide from the Visitor Centre suggests routes and the best place to spot snowdrops and there is a Snowdrop Viewing Theatre located outside the main reception.

During Snowdrops only parts of the garden are open to visitors, depending on the weather and the state of the ground, however, the Winter Garden is always open. The Mill will not be open.

The restaurant is open 9.30am- 4.30pm for light refreshments; hot or cold lunches are served from 12noon to 2.30pm.

Cost of the trip £34.50
National Trust members – coach only- £19.50
