The Christmas walk will be from the Queens Head pub at Saddington. The walk will start at 10.00 am on Tuesday 4th December and will be followed by a Christmas meal at 12.45pm.
The next walk on Tuesday 6th November is a circular walk from The Dog and Gun pub in Kilby. Please meet at 10.00 am to order food. The walk is across grass fields, tracks and by the canal then along a quiet road.
The September walk was from The Royal Oak pub in Cossington village. This was mainly a river walk. We went into the Cossington Meadows nature reserve which lies next to the River Soar and walked to Sileby mill where we enjoyed a short break. On Tuesday 7th August the group enjoyed a five mile walk from The Hare pub at Loddington. This walk was led by John Flowes and went across fields to Great Cransley, through Cransley wood and back along the route of an old railway.
