The next walk on Tuesday 6th August is from the Fox and Goose pub at Illston on the Hill. LE7 9EG. The walk goes across grass and wheat fields visiting the villages of Carlton Curlieu and Burton Overy. Please meet at 10.00am to order food.
A bright sunny day welcomed the group as they set off from the Bell Inn at Gumley. It was a lovely walk over fields full of butterflies and then along the canal and no dirty boots to clean at the end. Lunch was delicious especially the homemade pudding. Diana Baxter
The next walk will be on Tuesday 2nd July from The Bell Inn at Gumley LE16 7RU. This short leisurely walk will go over fields and along the Grand Union canal to Foxton village before visiting the locks and then back to Gumley village.
