Quilty Pleasures is a thriving and enthusiastic group which meets in beautiful Foxton village hall. Our aim is to help people new to patchwork, quilting and appliqué gain a basic knowledge of these lovely crafts, though if you are a more experienced stitcher there is certainly a place for you too! We don't mind whether you prefer to stitch by hand or with a machine, both methods are welcomed here.
Want to have a go at patchwork and quilting? Don't know where, or how, to start? Then come and join us at Quilty Pleasures, all are welcome whatever your skill level. We are so lucky to have Edith on hand to help guide us through even more patchwork and quilting-related topics, along with Gill and Di. Recently we have made quilts, using six inch squares, a true test of accuracy!! We are now embarking on a smaller project, individual cushion covers, so come along to any Quilty Pleasures meeting to get a taste of these beautiful crafts, or you can always contact me by telephone for more information on our lovely group.
A number of our members will be going to the quilting exhibition at Duxford, the first of the year.
Where and when
We meet at 2pm on the second and fourth Thursday of the month in Foxton Village Hall, Middle Street, Foxton.
Please telephone for more information about our progressive, informative and enjoyable programme. New members are warmly welcomed.
