Having had to use our usual ingenuity to find poems on the theme of ‘Flying’ in October, we should be on more famliar ground with ‘Buildings and Archtecture’ in November, ‘Memory/Memories’ in December and Sport/Leisure in January. We meet on the first Friday of the month at 10am in The Angel – new members would […]

Having enjoyed our ‘Food’ in July, we will be turning our attention to making our own choice, with the theme ‘Pick a poet or two’ in August. We meet at 10am in the Ashley Room on the first Friday of the month and would make any new members very welcome.
By the time you read this newsletter we will have celebrated the approach of Spring in poetry and will be preparing to look at the pleasures (and perils?) of Drink. We meet on the first Friday of the month upstairs in the Congregational Church at 10 am and would give newcomers a warm welcome.
