Shaker cards and two ways with tulips were the topics for our last session at Little Bowden church, using very different methods. We would like to say thank you to Little Bowden church for the use of their upstairs room since the group began. Our next meeting will be at the Bowls Club in Little Bowden. […]
Our thanks go to Julia and Vivian this week for demonstrating reflections with stamps. Hard at work, intricate cutting out this week.
Our thanks go to Vivian for demonstrating this card at our first session this month. It involved the use of masks, ink pads and daubers and a little patience… Carolyn.
CARD CRAFT 2 We had two meetings as usual in April, when we concentrated on making cards for those more unfortunate times in our lives. First we tackled condolence cards and then in the next session we made a slightly unusual get well card featuring a spoonful of hearts(medicine) plus a general purpose card. Both […]
Nothing new to report this time as we have just enjoyed a break. We shall have resumed our sessions on Thursday January 3rd at St Nicholas Church and I am sure I speak for us all, when I say, we shall be looking forward to more fun and creativity. Happy New Year. Vivian Hammond

After two most enjoyable sessions in July, one making box cards and the other trying our hand at folk painting, we are now taking a break until September 6th. We shall resume as usual on the first and third Thursday mornings in the month in St. Nicholas Church Upper Room. Vivian Hammond
On 7th June we made 3D bird houses which folded flat to fit into an envelope. A lovely project Carolyn. Thank-you. Due to holidays and outings clashing we were thin on the ground for our second session so contented ourselves with completing past kits and exchanging ideas (and gossip)!
In May we had two sessions as usual, on the 1st and third Thursday mornings. On May 3rd we tackled ‘never-ending’ cards, requiring a great deal of concentration in order to achieve cards which folded this way and that way to provide four different decorated surfaces. ( It has occurred to me that perhaps these […]
