ONE FAMILY… TWO HISTORIC ATTACTIONS.
A JOINT VISIT TO SPETCHLEY PARK GARDENS AND BERKELEY CASTLE.
PRICE: £45 INCLUDES GUIDED TOURS TO BOTH ATTRACTIONS, MORNING REFRESHMENTS, PRE-BOOKED LUNCH and COACH
Upon arrival we have refreshments in the Old Laundry Tea Room, and have then a guided tour of the gardens-1 hr.
We start our day at the historic and beautiful gardens of SPETCHLEY PARK WORCESTER.
Set within 30 acres, Spetchley is proud to be a garden for all tastes. It’s many wonderous display of plants, shrubs and trees woven into a garden of many rooms.
Ellen Wilmott the renowned horticulturist and plants woman, together with her sister Rose Berkeley, design and plant the garden. Enjoy wonderful walks through formal and informal herbaceous borders, sweeping lawns and woodland glades and take in the views across the lake to the deer park and Malvern Hills. After the tour we have time to visit the Gift Shop and Plant Sales.
Please note the House is not open to the public.
After your visit we depart for BERKELEY CASTLE AND BUTTERFLY HOUSE.
Lived in by the Berkeley family for nearly 900 years. A guided tour of the castle –1 ¼ hrs. Later
this will allow us time to stroll around the terraced gardens, and visit the Butterfly House located within the old walled kitchen garden and visit the gift shop and plant sales.
Please be careful there are lots of uneven flooring in and around the castle!!

We leave Market harborough Bus Station at 8.30am
Returning from Berkeley Castle at 4pm.
