Trips: St Albans

Fri April 28

St Albans is an historic gem of a cathedral city with Roman roots and beautiful medieval architecture.  The city's colourful history can be seen in the Roman remains at the Verulamium Museum and the Roman Theatre, the only one of its kind in Britain.  There is a walking tour of the places of interest. The coach will leave Market Harborough Bus Station at 8.30am.

May – AGM

This month is our AGM, followed by a concert. The Constitution of SLU3A calls for (not more than) 15 members to be appointed annually to the Executive Committee.  The Officers – chairman, vice chairman, secretary and treasurer - shall be appointed annually by decision of the Executive Committee at its first meeting after each Annual General Meeting.
