We are a local (within one hour’s drive of Market Harborough) birdwatching group who try to help each other improve our identification skills and which beginners are very welcome to join. Despite seeing thirty-five species on our last visit to Brandon Marsh Nature Reserve we only added one (Green Sandpiper) to our 2016 annual species list which now stands at 90. Anybody interested in going birdwatching at a local site this month should telephone me during the weekend of 19/20 November to find out where and when this month’s visit will take place. If I’m not available leave your name and either your landline number or e-mail address and I’ll get back to you with the information. John Cameron.
