Bird Watching (Monday) – April meeting

One Swallow may not a summer make but the twenty plus we saw on our visit to Daventry Country Park along with Swifts, both Martins and a symphony of birdsong from the early arriving warblers suggested it’s coming.  We added eleven species (including Arctic and Common Tern) to our 2016 total, making seventy-six so far.

Our next visit will be on 16th May to Rutland Water, meeting in the Lyndon Visitor Centre at 10am.  Do please telephone me if you would like any further information.  John Cameron.
